Kate Beckinsale

Following footsteps of her parents she entered in the famous world of acting and movies. "One against the Wind" is her first movie which was released in 1991, movie was featured on World War II. Just for supporting her acting skills she learned three foreign languages and literature studies from New College Oxford.

Michael Sheen was he first person with whim she had a relation and she has a baby girl "Lily Mo Sheen", it was during her movie Underworld(1999).

She still smokes and the only period during which she doesn't smoke was her pregnancy period. Her relation with Michael Sheen didn't last long and she broke up with him. She got married again in May 2004 with "Len Wiseman" who is a director.

In the beginning of her career she is offered a role in Shakespearian play "Much Ado about Nothing". She quit the school at that times and started her film career fully."Brokedown Palace" was the next movie which can be counted as a major movie but again movie was not that successful.

Celebrities & Their Pooches

Hollywood celebrities and royalties are very much known for their active lifestyle. They're always on the go — filming, promoting films in different parts of the world, holding tours and concerts, or meeting other influential super stars. Now who would have thought that they can actually take care of dogs?

Indeed, dogs are becoming such a part of these celebrities' lives that they've become stars themselves, appearing in magazines or even in movies.

Queen Elizabeth II

All of England knows that this queen is a certified animal lover. In fact, she's an awarded equestrian. What other people may not know about is that she doesn't travel alone. Besides her husband, she's also fond of tagging along her little pups, such as Oxo, Flash, Spick, Span, and Bisto. They are all cocker spaniels. She also has other dog breeds like Corgis and Dorgis, which are actually a cross breed of corgis and dachshund.

Drew Barrymore

The men in Drew Barrymore's life may come and ago, but her beloved yellow Labrador/Chow still remains her ultimate companion. As a matter of fact, there's no other "friend" that loved her more than this little pooch. Back in 2001, when the mansion Drew and her then-husband Tom Green were staying caught on fire, it was actually Flossie that saved their lives by banging on the couple's door. Without her, we could have lost a much adored Hollywood actress.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton, a certified socialite and hotel chain heiress, is notorious for many things, including pioneering small dogs as fashion statements. For many years she was never seen without her little Tinkerbell - a chihuahua. Since Paris never leaves the spotlight, it's only a matter of time before Tinkerbell herself starts making headlines, just like her infamous owner.

In 2004, Tinkerbell became the main story when she went missing and a $5,000 reward was posted. She was also the inspiration of a Paris Hilton book satire, which was entitled Tinkerbell Hilton Diaries.

Before there was Penelope Cruz and Camila Alves, a supermodel, there was Miss Hud, a Labrador and chow mix, who was the love of Matthew McConaughey's life. Their companionship allowed Matthew to easily move on from heartbreaking split-ups with several beautiful Hollywood celebrities and made him one of the most appealing and endearing men. Sadly Miss Hud passed away in 2005.

Oprah's dogs are her babies. She loved them as much as she loved her partner, Stedman, and her best friend Gayle. She would often share her spotlight with her pooches - Sophie, Solomon, Gracie, and Luke, among others. They were sometimes turned into subjects of her own talk show, such as when Sophie passed away and a tribute was made to her. And if these weren't enough, to honor her memory, Oprah bought a condominium unit, which she named Sophie's Penthouse LLC.

The Electrifing World of Carmen Electra

Carmen Electra was born as Tara Leigh Patrick born on April 20, 1972 in Sharonville, Ohio, USA, a suburb of Cincinnati, to Patricia, a vocalist, and Harry Patrick, an entertainer and guitarist. The actress attended Princeton High School in Sharonville.

Carmen before entering the acting world tried her luck in singing and came out with her first album for Prince's Paisley Park label. The album came out to be a dud and failed miserably. Incidentally, it was Prince who gave Carmen her present name changing it from Tara.

Not a one to lose hope, Carmen Electra soon tried her hands at acting by making several appearances in television programs. But it was her nude pictorial with Playboy in 1996 that instantly shot her to fame landing her a role in the lifeguard TV series, Baywatch (cast member from 1997-1998) and MTV's Singled Out ( where she replaced Jenny McCarthy as the co-host). She returned to Baywatch for the 2003 reunion movie, Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.

Her long list of movies include Good Burger (1997), The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human (1999), the horror spoof Scary Movie (2000) and also appeared in Scary Movie 4 (2006), Epic Movie(2007), "Date Movie" (2007), the remake of the 1970s TV show Starsky & Hutch (2004) and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. In fact she even won an MTV Movie Award (best kiss) for Starsky & Hutch. The critics, however, so far have remained aloof to her work done by panning it.

And this is not all, Carmen Electra spiced up her image more by some television and music video appearances like in Bloodhound Gang's music video of "The Inevitable Return of the Great White Dope" (1999), The Osbournes, The Anna Nicole Show, and, most notably, Newlyweds, Elektra and husband-to-be Dave Navarro agreed to let an MTV camera crew record their lives for the reality show Till Death Do Us Part.

Carmen Electra is also responsible for starting the Naked Women's Wrestling League in 2005 acting as a commissioner for the professional wrestling promotion. Her association with Playboy magazine grew more strong with some more appearances by Carmen over the years and no she is going to pose nude again for the magazine's 55th anniversary January 2008 issue.

The lady is also associated with brands like taco bell and Ritz Camera Centers. Her future project revolves her being confirmed as a contestant on NBC's Celebrity version of The Apprentice.
